Fees

At CYM we believe everyone should have access to being part of something great.

Although CYM fees are lower than those of comparable providers in the capital the Centre recognises that they are still a significant financial commitment. The Centre strives to enable access to its programmes based on talent, not on ability to pay and encourages applications regardless of financial means.

The Centre works in partnership with other organisations to provide assistance with fees as appropriate to individual cases. These include some London Music Hubs, the Department for Education, the Guildhall School and the Centre’s supporting charity, the Foundation for Young Musicians (FYM). Parents are required to pay the balance of fees over and above any award.

Requests for bursary funding are normally considered after the offer of a place at the Centre.
